One of the questions that more often raise me
companies it is: "how to promote my head office in Internet?": "how
to do that my clients, current and potential, can find my
pages and visit them?" And to this question he would wish the whole world
to receive an answer of the type: "Very easy, it hires a campaign of
promotion in such an agency" o "is enough that you hire banners in such
and such portals". And there the big problem resides. For the inertia of
physical world and the ignorance of the way, the attitude of
persons it is to continue with "the well-known thing" or "the easy thing". It seems that
we want to be able to buy banners, or what is, place ourselves in
big portals and, with that, to fulfill the records of the promotion.
Almost he would say, to calm our conscience. But that, in Internet, no
it works this way. Internet gives us many opportunities to stand out
nonexistent in the physical world, but in return we demand it
to interfere straight in our promotion. Let's see porqué.


THE BIG QUESTION

In Internet any company is a microbe opposite to a universe

of mass communication media, conferences, fairs, publication of
articles and books, etc.


CONCLUSION

I have exhibited a series of concepts and necessary elements for
to understand the mechanisms of a correct action of promotion in
Internet. And we have seen that the approaches must be radically
different from those of the physical or conventional marketing.

In my following article (the next month) I will help you to put in
order the whole battery of means that I have quoted and I will give rules and
you design to guide you in the development of your own plan
attending on the diverse circumstances of every company.

Namely it is clear that this network about which we have spoken, will be
different in every case and this way it must be. I will propose different lines to you

company.
